CALISSY
Derived from the ancient Greek word ‘Calista’ meaning most beautiful.
My inspiration for Calissy began when I first became enthralled in the world of ancient art, studying Classical Civilisation at King’s College London and combining this with hopping back and forth to the wonderfully eclectic clothing shops of Italy & Greece.
Symmetry, drapery and feminine allure were all important aspects of the ancient Greek understanding of beauty and I wanted to encapsulate this into my designs together with using a luxurious, white palette influenced by the classical sculptures and artwork I discovered.
My approach was always to express my thoughts into beautiful wearable art and create stylish pieces that I hope you will want to wear forever!
I am excited to share with you my debut collection of carefully tailored pieces that transcend the seasons and can be lovingly showcased at any special occasion.
